Kansas Historical Society - Hours and directions

Hours:

Business Offices

Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

State Archives

The State Archives research room hours are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. the last Saturday of the month. The public is welcome. 

Kansas Museum of History

The Kansas Museum of History is currently closed for major renovations.

Kansas State Capitol Visitor Center

The Kansas State Capitol Visitor Center is open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday; Capitol Store: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday. 785-296-3966. Historic tours, dome tours, and self-guided tours are available.
