Scope and content: Scrapbooks and photograph albums from the various juvenile correctional facilities (and their predecessor institutions) and the Central Office of the Juvenile Justice Authority in Kansas. Most of the volumes come from the Atchison facility but also from the Beloit and Topeka facilties. Mostly consist of photographs and some newspaper clippings. Focus of events photographed include dedications and groundbreaking ceremonies; employees of the year, retirements, and other staff recognitions; Halloween and Christmas parties and other special events; conferences and retreats; dog training programs in which inmates participated and other events focused on inmates, etc.
