Biographical sketch: A. Stanley Trickett was a devout Methodist who spent some time in the years immediately following World War II in Europe, helping with the Friendship Train project, among others. From the years 1950-1954, he was President of the Kansas Weslayan University in Salina.
Abstract: The collection includes bound volumes of copies of outgoing correspondence (indexed); auditors' reports of the university; and some other materials. The majority of the collection consists of Professor Trickett's correspondence, which includes professional and personal matters as well as relates to his work and interest in Methodism.
