Kansas Museum of History - Kansas Day
Kansas Day commemorates the admission of the state as the 34th in the Union on January 29, 1861. Schools mark the anniversary by learning more about their state's history.
Enjoy demonstrations of historic crafts and activities correlated to the Kansas History, Government, and Social Studies Standards (KHGSS). See performances by the Kansas University Chemistry Club and Wonder Workshop's Richard Camara Pitts.
