Shawnee Indian Mission - Kansas Day

Shawnee Indian Mission, FairwayJoin us for a commemoration of the 151st anniversary of Kansas statehood and discover the role the mission played in Kansas history.

Local volunteer actors will present a reading of the melodrama Badness on the Banks of Brushy Creek by playwright Don Carlton. The performance will be followed by a reception. An afternoon performance of this show will be held at Grinter Place State Historic Site.
