Kansans of African Descent: Selected Portraits

Well-known people who have called Kansas home are featured in this exhibit of historic and contemporary photos. The exhibit celebrates such individuals as Benjamin "Pap" Singleton who was instrumental in bringing many African American immigrants to Kansas, Julie Lee who ran a grocery business in Nicodemus in 1877, and Lynette Woodard, first woman member of the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters. Produced by the Kansas Historical Society.

Handling Fee: $25

Exhibit Format: NIMLOK units using 5 panels; includes 19 black and white photographs measuring approximately 16"x20"

Shipping: (1) plastic case measuring 32"x26"x8" weighing 20 lbs. and (1) NIMLOK case w/wheels measuring 49"x38"x14" weighing 150 lbs.
