Kansas Tornado

Tornados, with their sinister forms and terrific power, have always been a source of curiosity. Kansas is sometimes known as the "cyclone state" although since 1961 statistics show that Oklahoma has the greatest frequency of tornados. This exhibit is testimony to the destruction and peculiarities caused by these awesome storms in Kansas. Produced by the Kansas Historical Society.
