Wheat People: The Wheat Game

Here are your results:

1999 was terrible. Heavy rains caused some wheat to fall to the ground, where combines couldn't pick it up. Diseases thrived in the cool, damp weather.

Jagger did surprisingly well. It resisted leaf rust--a problem because of the rainy weather.

Herbicide was smart, although it cost you about $10 per acre. Some neighbors who didn't use herbicide had weed-choked fields.

Congratulations!
You had a very good year.

You harvested 64 bushels per acre, a whopping 18 bushels above the state average. Using herbicide reduced your profits, but it probably saved your crop.
