The world's oldest collection may be an 80,000-year-old assortment of pebbles found in a French cave. Today it's estimated that one of every three Americans collects something. Despite the fact that collecting is common behavior, it is not a simple activity. It satisfies emotions which lie at the heart of our personalities.
