Family Histories on Microfiche

The Library & Archives Division was awarded an Interlibrary Loan Development Program grant for fiscal year 1997 from the Kansas Library Network Board. The grant was used to purchase microfiche needed to replace titles currently held in obsolete microcard format. Twenty-five rare titles not found in regional libraries are now available on microfiche. The titles are all 19th or very early 20th century family history titles. The titles are all connected with early New England families. Microfiche is a standardized format and many libraries in Kansas have microfiche readers.
The titles on microfiche listed below are available for use by researchers in the research room or through interlibrary loan.
