KSHS, Inc.

133nd Annual Meeting, November 7, 2008

Held each November at the Kansas History Museum and Library, the annual meeting includes tours, a member reception, new board member orientation, member meeting, board meeting, luncheon, and dinner.

The KSHS, Inc. Annual Meeting includes presentations of the Nyle H. Miller Local Historical Organization Award, Edgar Langsdorf Award, Edward N. Tihen Historical Publication Awards, John Ripley Local Organization Award, speakers, election of board members and officers, and recognition of retiring and emeritus board members and executive committee members.

Nominations for Election

Article VIII of the bylaw of the Kansas State Historical Society, Inc. provide that the names of the nominees to be voted on at the annual meeting of the Society shall be approved by the Executive Committee and given to the membership of KSHS, Inc. by publication at least thirty (30) days prior to the Annual Meeting.
