Kansas 150In observance of the Kansas 150, Governor Sam Brownback's Blue Ribbon Panel for Kansas History announced the top 25 Notable Kansans. This list represents those who have strong Kansas connections and whose actions had national or international significance. The purpose of the Notable Kansans list is to excite Kansans about their history and inspire our young people about the importance and relevance of Kansas history and its people. Announcements were made at events across the state in August and September.
