Cyrus Holliday
(1826-1900)
- Co-founded Topeka, first president of Topeka Town Association
- Served as adjutant general and state senator
- Organized the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway in 1859 and was first president
- Donated 20 acres for the Kansas State Capitol grounds and helped design building
