Discovery Place

Children through the age of nine find an exciting play area with a wide variety of things to do. The intriguing stations include Laura's Cabin, County Fair Carnival, and a Plains Indian tipi. Challenge your child's knowledge with the symbols display.

Discovery Place can be reserved at no additional charge by groups with a paid museum admission.  All reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. If there are no reservations, Discovery Place will be open to the public. Adult supervision is required.

Children enjoy the space to play on the train or use their imaginations with toy farm equipment. Dressing like a cowboy in the cowboy corral and singing around the campfire provides memories for children and adults alike.
