9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m Thursdays and Fridays in April and May.

Looking for a way to enhance your self-guided tour? Bring your students to the museum at the time when our well-trained docents will be stationed at selected exhibits throughout the museum. They will provide the visitors with additional insights and hands-on opportunities related to various exhibits.

Cost per student including museum admission: $2.  One adult enters free for every 10 students.  Additional adults pay the student rate.

Bus transportation for USD 501 schools: The Topeka Metro System is offering free rides for classroom field trips along fixed-route buses for schools in USD 501 during the 2013-2014 school year.  This offer includes students, teachers and parents.

Registration and scheduling: To scheduled a self-guided tour, register online, or contact Education at 785-272-8681, ext. 414; email education@kshs.org.  Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
