From Reveille to Taps: Bugle Calls at Fort Hays

Bugles, horns and drums have been used for centuries to control the movement of troops on the battlefield as well as to regulate a soldiers activities on a fort during the day. Learn the origins and meanings of some of the most common calls used at Fort Hays in the late 1800s.
Cost per student is $2. One adult enters free for every 10 students. Additional adults pay the student rate.
Length of tour: approximately 1 hour.
Number of students in a group: For the best experience, we recommend no more than 50.
