Jack Wisman is a native Kansan and lives in Topeka.
He is the third generation owner of Einstein's Outdoor Outfitters, a company that has been in business for 106 years. Einstein's is the oldest retail business in Topeka and one of the oldest in Kansas.
Wisman is on the board of directors of Topeka Cemetery, and is a volunteer tour guide at the Kansas State Capitol.
He was first elected to the Kansas Historical Foundation Board of Directors in 2015. He has served on the finance and membership committees.
"I've always been interested in immigration, and what motivates someone to risk everything to come to a new country. Reading about Kansas history, which was and still is affected by immigration, is part of that process."
