The State Archives has the following record series from the office:

Territorial: Appointment book; record of appropriations; receipt books; bond and warrant stubs; daily record of disbursements; ledger; preemption record; public accounts papers; bonds and warrants; warrant register. (Use of some volumes continued after statehood.)

State: Correspondence; warrant registers; treasurers' receipts; minutes and various tax assessment records of the Board of Equalization and the Board of Railroad Assessors; state accountant and Department of Post-Audit reports; insurance company reports and correspondence; records of financial claims against the state; and material concerning the State Land Office, school lands, and the State Permanent School Fund.
