Kansas State Capitol - Online tour - Ground level
When you use the underground parking at the Kansas State Capitol, you will enter the building through the ground level. This level of the Capitol is made of native Kansas limestone from the Junction City area. This was an unused area before the renovation. Now there are skylights and offices around the limestone. The Revisor of Statutes, Legislative Research, Computer Services, Housekeeping, and Capitol Police all have offices here. The renovation has made creative use of these old spaces.
