Mark Reddig received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas. He has more than two decades of award-winning writing, editing and photography experience. He was the managing editor for the Sun Newspapers of Johnson County and a real estate investor.
He participated in the testing, installation, and implementation of a computerized storage system for issues at the Hutchinson News and The Sun. In 2005 he launched Land Line Now, a radio show, serving as host, which received awards from regional, national, and international media organizations.
He is a member of the Northeast Landlords Association, Kansas City; and a member of Landlords, Inc. of Kansas City. He is interested in exploring historic sites and the media’s role in preserving and defining history.
Reddig was first elected to the Kansas Historical Foundation Board of Directors in 1994. He has served as a member and chair of the Nyle Miller Local Organization committee, and helped with publicity for Save Outdoor Sculpture.
