Kansas Newspaper Database (Microfilm and Electronic)
The Historical Society has a nearly comprehensive collection of newspapers for the state. Kansas residents can borrow newspaper microfilm by placing a request with their local library for an interlibrary loan. Many newspapers dating from 1854-1922 are also online and free for Kansas residents to use via the links in this database. For current non-electronic titles not yet on microfilm, consult our online catalog, ATLAS. Out-of-state researchers should contact KSHS reference staff for more information. Some microfilm is available for purchase.

Kansas Digital Newspapers program - The Kansas Digital Newspapers (KDN) program seeks to digitize and make available on the Internet digital editions of historic Kansas newspapers.
