Read Kansas! Middle School - M-3 Juvenile and Adult Criminal Justice
Juveniles and adults are treated differently in the criminal justice system. This lesson teaches students some of the similarities and differences between the two forms of treatment. Students will extract information on these similarities and differences through reading composite pieces, and fill out a Venn diagram comparing the two systems. This lesson is designed to be completed in one class period, but can be adjusted as needed.
