Request for Proposals

The Kansas Historical Society assists cultural resources across the state through various financial incentive programs.  The following grant-assisted properties and projects are seeking proposals, bids, or qualifications from contractors and consultants.  Please address all inquiries to the project contact listed.

Topeka - Consultant Services
The City of Topeka was awarded a 2015 Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) grant to hire a consultant to complete an intensive-level survey of the College Hill neighborhood north of Washburn University. The project will include approximately 328 properties within the survey area as outlined in the scope of work. Proposals are due to the City of Topeka by 2:00 p.m. on July 28, 2015. Topeka - Consultant Services
The City of Topeka was awarded a 2015 Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) grant to hire a consultant to produce design guidelines for two separate commercial historic districts in downtown Topeka. The project will include the Mill Block Historic District and the South Kansas Avenue Commercial Historic District as outlined in the scope of work. Proposals are due to the City of Topeka by 2:00 p.m. on July 28, 2015.
