Visit our Fort Hays State Historic Site Store during the regular site hours in Hays. The Fort Hays Store carries a selection of books related to the U.S. military in the West following times of the Civil War. The store features a wide selection of books on Native American tribes of the plains.

Many of the gifts items are unique. You'll find Fort Hays coffee mugs, caps, "Highway to History" CDs, post rock bookends, kits to make bonnets, and soldier's housewives (a type of sewing kit soldiers carried), and hardtack. The store also features numerous Kansas related items such as wheat weavings, postcards, and magnets. Children will find an assortment of books and toys.
