What's NewThe John Brown Museum State Historic Site is sponsoring the First Annual Old Stone Church Spring Concert 7 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at at the Old Stone Church, Sixth and Lincoln, Osawatomie, Kansas. Talented Osawatomie High School Vocal Music Students will perform works that they will present at the State Music Festival. This entertaining event will benefit the Osawatomie Historic Preservation Fund, which works to preserve Osawatomie's historiic sites and monuments. The Osawatomie Rotary Club is sponsoring the Osawatomie Rotary Club Coed Volley Ball Tournment at Osawatomie High School, Trojan Drive and Parker Avenue, Osawatomie, Kansas on Saturday, March 31, 2007. The John Brown Museum State Historic Site is co-sponsoring "Railroad Day" in Osawatomie with the Osawatomie History/Railroad Depot Museum 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, April 14. The event will be held at the Osawatomie History/Railroad Museum and throughout downtown Osawatomie. Railroad Museums and historic sites will set up booths and exhbits about Kansas's rich railroad history, and Osawatomie Downtown Merchants will have a sidewalk sale.
