At the Kansas Historical Society, our vision is to enrich people’s
lives by connecting them to the past. The story of Kansas is the story
of its people. If it weren’t for the people, there would be no
story to tell. In the coming months, we’ll be introducing you
to a variety of people from Kansas history. You may have heard of some.
Others will be new to you, as will their stories. We invite you to take
a moment to get to know the people of Kansas history…and their
stories.
