Audio-visual Services

The objective of offering audiovisual services at the Kansas State Historical Society is to provide patrons with quality reproductions of materials in the Society's collections. Audio and videotape duplication rates provide for comparable quality with the characteristics of the original material with minimal generational degradation. All audiovisual processes are completed in the Society's media lab when possible; contracted work is required for some services. Duplication can be requested through a commercial media lab; however, a Society AV collection representative must approve the contract facility. The total charge is figured by adding duplication fee and audio/videotape cost.
