Kansas Civilian Conservation Corps Newspapers on Microform
The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was a New Deal agency active
during the 1930's. Its mission was to provide employment and educational
opportunities to single men 18-23. The program was expanded to provide
the same opportunities
to military veterans. Military veterans could be up to age 65 and married.
