Kansas Civilian Conservation Corps Newspapers on Microform

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was a New Deal agency active during the 1930's. Its mission was to provide employment and educational opportunities to single men 18-23. The program was expanded to provide the same opportunities to military veterans. Military veterans could be up to age 65 and married. Following some company numbers are letter designations indicating type of company. No company letter indicates a company was composed of single white men only.
