Finding Aids

Several finding aids have been placed on our web site by the staff of the Library and Archives Division of the Kansas State Historical Society. These finding aids are representative examples of materials included among our state archives, manuscripts, photographs and maps collections. This list of online finding aids represents only a fraction of our total holdings. Finding aids in paper format also exist for many other collections. Our reference staff can assist you in locating other holdings that may interest you.

Those items available on microfilm can be borrowed from us through interlibrary loan to your local library. All other materials are in original form and must be used at the Kansas History Center. The reference staff can provide patrons with information about these collections, please contact us via e-mail form or by telephone: (785) 272-8681, ext. 116. For details concerning information provided by reference staff via the mail, the researcher should consult our reference correspondence policy page.
