Kansas Lottery

As part of the Kansas Territorial Sesquicentennial Commission projects, the Kansas Lottery launched a new $1 instant scratch game, "150 Years of Kansas Territory," Monday, June 14, 2004. The ticket was printed with a montage of six different photos showing early Kansas scenes. The photos included an early homestead, a steam locomotive, a group of Union soldiers, a farm house on the plains, a photo of an unpaved downtown Lawrence, and railroad workers. The Commission was designated to receive funding assistance from the Lottery's purchase of Kansas oriented items and travel packages to promote this ticket.
