Gallery Highlights

Grades 4 - Adult

Bison The museum's permanent main gallery exhibit tells the exciting story of Kansas and the people who made this land their home from prehistoric times to the present. This tour introduces you to the treasures that abound in our state. It also can be "custom fit" to meet your curriculum needs.

Docents can provide tours that address aspects of various standards upon request.

Length of tour: approximately one hour, with a maximum of four tours per hour. For large groups, a maximum of 80 students will be accommodated on the tour during any given hour.

Number of student in a group: For the best experience, we recommend approximately 20 students per tour

Registration: Submit an online tour request; group rates are available with a minimum two weeks advanced registration
