In
1804 Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery embarked on an unprecedented
exploration of western lands on their journey to the Pacific Ocean.
In your classroom, your students will read about their journey using
primary and secondary source materials. At the Kansas History Museum
and Library, they will explore our Nature Trail using exploration tools
(we provide) and a journal worksheet. When they return to school they
will write their own journal entry about their experience.
