Guided and Self-Guided Theme Tours

Guided theme tours can be scheduled with a two week advance notice. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis and will be confirmed by mail. Please check admission fees for group tours.

Tours include a trip through selected portions of the Kansas Museum of History's main gallery and offer special hands-on activities. The Guided Theme Tours are designed for specific age groups but can be adapted to reach other audiences. The Gallery Highlights Tour includes an overview of the permanent exhibit gallery.

Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.

Museum docents are stationed in the gallery 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays in April and May. The docents will provide insights into selected exhibits throughout the Museum.
