The complex on the capital city's western edge is nestled on 81 acres among the Kansas grasses and woodlands. The complex offers space for meeting planners in a beautiful and historical setting.

Center for Historical Research

The four building complex features the Kansas Museum of History with classrooms, meeting facilities in the Potawatomi Mission, one-room schoolhouse, and the State Archives & Library with classrooms.

Flexible Facility

Whether you choose elegance or homespun, the Kansas Historical Society offers the ideal locale. Our eleven event sites are designed to accommodate guest lists of 10 to 300 people. The professional event staff will work with you on details concerning locations, amenities, and room reservation rates. Most services, such as audio-visual equipment, tables and seating, and security are provided at no extra cost to you.
