States further there are no surviving chiefs from the Treaty of 1818. Asks for further clarification as there are three surviving chiefs from the Treaty of 1832.

Contents: States that the Delaware chiefs, in council, have requested him (Cummins) to pass on the word that they would like the interest ($1000) arising from their school funds be spent on agricultural implements which are badly needed. They were informed that this would be an impossible request to grant. Their need for agricultural implements, however, is a great one.
