Contents: Discusses the attack of the Ioways upon the Pawnee who were transporting corn issued to them by the government. Speaks about logical punishments. The principals behind the attack should be confined at Ft. Leavenworth. One, the son of White Cloud, an Ioway chief, who beheaded a wounded Pawnee boy, should be confined at least one year. Ends by saying the most efficient thing to do would be to turn them over to the Pawnees.
