Contents: Encloses a copy of a letter sent by him (Cummins) dated 1/27/1840 concerning school funds for the Delaware children. States he still has received no answer. Delaware chiefs often ask if I have received replies to their inquiries. These Indians are easily satisfied, but become very concerned when no answer is forthcoming.
