Contents: Discusses his reading and explanation to the Shawnee Indians of the Commissioner's letter. In spite of all endeavors, the majority of the Shawnees were dissatisfied, claiming that the 20 or so Shawnee in Arkansas, left behind to tend the livestock, would now probably not come. If they do arrive, you will be informed.
