Virtual Tours
Enjoy a virtual tour of the Kansas Museum of History from the comfort and convenience of your classroom. Choose from many of the same topics offered with in-person tours at the museum. These live tours are broadcast using Zoom or Zoom Webinar. Tours may be viewed on one screen by a group, or students may sign in individually from remote locations.
Listed with each tour description are links to additional resources. You can use these resources before your tour to introduce the topic or as assessments or enrichments after your tour. Museum teachers can tailor each tour to meet your needs in a 30 to 60 minute tour. The cost is $30 per tour. Tours require a reservation made two weeks in advance. Confirmation will be made by e-mail and tour links will be sent at that time. Register online at kshs.education@ks.gov or by phone at 785-272-8681, ext. 415.
