Summary: An informal portrait of an Osage couple standing beside a grass house. The Osage, known as "Little Ones of the Middle Water," lived in permanent villages in the woodlands of present day Missouri along the Osage and Missouri Rivers, but built temporary camps on the Great Plains for their annual buffalo hunts. Today, the Osage people are found mainly in Osage County, Oklahoma.
