Summary: These are two photographs of the Wakarusa Hotel in Wakarusa, Kansas. One photograph shows the front of the hotel and the other shows a mule drawn cart with people standing on the back of it. On the side of the cart "city dray" is written. The two-story limestone structure was constructed between 1873 and 1876 by Civil War veteran W.H. Mills. The building still stands and is maintained as a private residence.
