In submitting photos, the student photographer acknowledges this is his or her original work. By entering the photographer gives the Kansas Historical Society the right to include the image in the state's collections at the Kansas Historical Society. This means the image may be used for promotional or research purposes. The student will be credited wherever possible and appropriate. By submitting a photo that includes people, the photographer is indicating that he or she has obtained full permission from those subjects for the photograph to be used in these manners.
