This photograph shows the University of Iowa's Scottish Highlanders boarding the Santa Fe Chief at the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company depot in Fort Madison, Iowa. The train was taking the students to the Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena California.
