Tours - Historic Sites

The Kansas Historical Society's state historic sites offer different types of class visit experiences at locations around the state. Experiences, admission fees, and tour prices vary. Follow the links to schedule these tours with the site administrator.

Special offers for schools: At three of our sites: Fort Hays State Historic Site, Hays; Hollenberg Pony Express Station, Hanover; and Pawnee Indian Museum, Republic, you can take advantage of admission and transportation subsidies from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation's 2018-2019 Enrichment Opportunities for Northwest Kansas Schools. At Red Rocks State Historic Site, Emporia, you can request a travel scholarship through the William Allen White Community Partnership, Inc.

  • Apply for one of 10 field trip scholarships of $200 for area schools. The William Allen White Community Partnership, Inc., is offering  to Red Rocks. The scholarship money can be used for admission and transportation.
