This photograph is of an unidentified farm yard in Sheridan County, Kansas. Visible are two sod buildings, two boys with dog in the foreground, two women with a toddler near a wagon, a man with work horses by hay stack, another man and two children on another wagon, and two cows.


Grace Eversole

This is a portrait of Grace Eversole in the fifth grade. Her adult portrait is Unit ID 99778, which is reflected on the back of this picture from being stacked together. This photograph is provided through a pilot project to host unique cultural heritage materials from local libraries on Kansas Memory and was accomplished by mutual agreement between the Northeast Kansas Library System, the Rossville Community Library, and the Kansas Historical Society.
