Carmen Lopez

This is a school picture of Carmen Lopez, who attended All Saints School in Wichita, Kansas. She is the daughter of Concepcion and Rafael Rocha Lopez, who immigrated to the United States from Mexico. Carmen's father served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War, and he later worked as a civil service barber at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas. Beginning in 1963, her parents owned and operated Connie's Mexico Cafe in Wichita, Kansas.
