Physical Description: Square mouthed shovel. Flat steel head, slightly curved along the two sides, riveted to a cylindrical wooden handle. Wood handle capped by metal handle with wood top. Square mouthed shovels are primarily used for shifting sand and cement, particularly in concrete making, when the straight edge of the head can be used to mix the constituents together.
