Physical Description: Oak mallet with bowed handle and detachable head. .a) Narrow wood handle that tapers to flat bow in center. Bowed handle enhances spring and flexibility. Head end of handle forms a dovetailed tenon which is inserts in left side of head. Hole through base of handle. .b) Thick trapezoidal wood head. Head is thicker in middle and tapers on both sides to flat rectangular faces on both ends. Left side of head has a vertical dovetailed mortise in which a corresponding tenon of handle is inserted.
