Kansas Day classroom activities

These activities for students can be printed from PDF and used in the classroom. They are popular to supplement Kansas Day activities. Held each year around January 29, Kansas Day commemorates the state's entry into the Union in 1861. People across the state, in classrooms, and in museums mark the day with activities that celebrate Kansas history and heritage.
