West Fest: National Day of the Cowboy

West FestCalling all cowboys at heart! Our family event celebrating the cowboy will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018. It features activities on the grounds and in the Museum. Kansas Historical Foundation members admitted free! Be watching for our next event!

  • Climb inside the full-sized covered wagon.  Great photo op!
  • Gallop through the gallery on stick ponies
  • Play cowboy bingo
  • Enjoy one stagecoach ride

Purchase tickets for the Mahaffie Stage Stop and Farm stage coach rides.

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Free hot dogs and chips while supplies last.

Kettle corn and old-fashioned ice cream for sale all day.
